I was born and raised right here in South Florida—I am a true native. I left South Florida for my education, but always knew I would be back. Attending the University of Notre Dame for my undergraduate training, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Degree in Psychology and feel this helps me to meet some of the unspoken needs of my patients on a daily basis.
After four years at Notre Dame, I realized the cold weather was not for me and headed south. Attending the University of Florida College of Dentistry for four years, earned my Degree in Dental Medicine, and graduated in 1987, beginning my dental practice here in South Florida that same year.
I soon realized that I could not settle for average “run of the mill” dentistry. My patients deserved more. I joined many dental organizations, study clubs and enrolled in many continuing education courses. Over the years I have continually strived to achieve a higher level of exceptional dentistry, both in the clinical aspect, as well as the level of service I provide to my patients. I enrolled in many courses at the Spear Institute of Advanced Dental Education and now am a Spear Faculty Club Member of this prestigious organization. I was also the past president and now an active member of the Fort Lauderdale Study Club. I hold a position on the executive board as Restorative Director for the Intracoastal Study Club, which is a mini residency in complete dental care dedicated to the pursuit of dental excellence.
Finally, my staff and I have completed intense training and graduated from The Schuster Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona. This has allowed us to run our practice with more organization and efficiency so that we may focus more on patient care and address all our patient’s needs.
On a personal note, I have been married to my beautiful wife since 1989 and have a
wonderful son and daughter of whom I am very proud. I truly enjoy spending time with my family, especially watching Notre Dame football games together. In my spare time I enjoy exercising, which allows me to explore my other pleasure, which is sampling many of the great restaurants Fort Lauderdale has to offer.
